New Year Cheer
Children from St Denys Primary school at Portswood helped to spread a little seasonal cheer at Churchill Retirement Living’s Victoria Lodge development in Portswood with a Carol Service attended by Owners and prospective Owners.
Leading retirement housebuilder, Churchill Retirement Living, is always keen to encourage a strong sense of community at its retirement living schemes and Victoria Lodge is no exception.
"We were pleased to welcome the children, who sang beautifully, and to also see so many Owners and prospective buyers here at our on-site carol service,” said Spencer McCarthy, Chairman & Group Managing Director of Churchill Retirement Living. "It certainly helped to ease everyone into the New Year. There were Owners, both new and established, and also a selection of prospective buyers and their families, which made the carol service very jolly. " Churchill Retirement Living staff were at hand to offer seasonal refreshments to those attending the carol service whilst potential Owners had a unique opportunity to tour the development and also experience first hand the real sense of community at Victoria Lodge: "This was a great opportunity for those who were considering buying an apartment not only to take a look at the development, but also to ask questions, meet Owners and gain a real perspective on what life is like here,” added Spencer.
Churchill Retirement Living developments can be found in carefully selected locations in the UK, all offering a good range of local amenities and shopping, together with independence, security and 24-hour support and help when required.
Victoria Lodge features a selection of one and two-bedroom self-contained retirement apartments, with a video-entry system, a 24 hour emergency telephone system, and an on- site Lodge Manager. Communal facilities include an Owners’ Lounge and Guest Suite, a laundry room and landscaped gardens.
Conveniently placed for all of Portswood’s amenities, the development is on a level walk to local shops and services.
