About the role

We are looking for a Trainee Accounts Clerk, based at our stunning Head Office to assist with providing efficient and timely recording of ledger transactions for the company and the group.

Duties will include assisting with processing of invoices, staff expenses, company credit cards and additional accounts department responsibilities such as bank reconciliations to develop your Accounting career path.

You will expand your Accounting related knowledge by spending time with various finance team members and through practical work within a functioning Accounts department.

The hours of work are Monday to Thursday, 9am – 5.30pm and Fridays 9am – 5pm.

About you

You will have an interest in Accountancy, like working with numbers, able to work full time and eager to learn. You will naturally enjoy working as part of a team, be organised and be helpful.

It is essential that you have obtained at least a grade C in your GCSE Maths and would be love it if you have achieved a GCSE in another related subject such as Economics, Accounting or Business Studies.

You must be confident have good IT skills and be comfortable using Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
