About the role
It is exciting times here at Churchill Retirement Living and due to our bold growth plans we are recruiting for an ICT Field Technician.
You will provide technical support and service fulfilment to users of ICT within the Regional Offices (based in Bromsgrove & Warrington), and our developments across our Midlands region and newly formed Northern region. The role will therefore include desktop and remote support, as well as travel when needed.
On occasions, you will also provide remote support to users in our other Regions to support the wider ICT department.
You will plan, prepare and perform IT equipment set ups and installations at site cabins, sales offices and Lodge Managers offices. Provide 1st and 2nd line support to ICT users in the resolution of reported faults, fulfil service requests made by ICT users (via the ICT ServiceDesk), monitor and report on the performance of ICT services within the region and support project work as required.
About you
We would love to hear from you if you have previous ICT Technician experience with a good working knowledge across a range of end user devices including desktops, laptops, printers, phones, routers, mobiles and tablets, and a knowledge of Microsoft products. Previous experience of ServiceNow Help Desk system or a similar ticketing system is desirable.
This is a busy role so you will work well in busy environments and will be able to effectively prioritise your workload. You will also have experience of supporting a distributed user base.
You will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, have effective analytical and problem solving skills and have a high level of attention to detail. You will also be highly organised, be capable of managing your own workload and capable of working alone or as part of a team.
This role is based at our Midlands Regional Office with frequent travel within the Midlands and Northern Regions. The working hours are Monday to Thursday 9:00am – 5:30pm, Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm.
