About the role
The journey of any new Churchill Retirement Lodge begins with the purchase of land.
Our Land Buyers and Senior Land Buyers play a critical role in the overall success of the business and we reward our Land Colleagues with very attractive land buying commission schemes, professional and personal development along with industry leading Colleague benefits.
As a Land Buyer, you’ll work closely with our planning, technical and design teams on a day to day basis. The role is incredibly fast moving, and you will be responsible for investigating opportunities through an extensive network of contacts as well as identifying land opportunities directly through your own efforts of targeted marketing. Our Land Colleagues work the site from identification and appraisal through each stage of the purchase and you will be liaising with Local Authorities, Estate Agents and Land Owners each and every day to maximise your opportunities.
You’ll also have the added benefit of knowing you play a key role in why our customers thrive and fall in love with their new independent, safe and secure lifestyle.

About you
You’ll have previous Land Buying experience within the property sector, from either the retirement sector, a mainstream house-builder or land acquisition for commercial and retail. You’ll have a proven track record of success, enjoy hitting targets and will be familiar with all aspects of land purchase in the UK.
There are a range of roles within the Land teams but what everyone here has in common is an unwavering passion for their work, dedication, self-motivation, a hunger for success and the love of working collaboratively to achieve goals.
It’s essential that you’re a competent driver with a valid UK drivers licence as you’ll be spending a large proportion of your time out of the office.
