About the role

We are recruiting for a Land Manager within our Midlands Region with a focus on the East Midlands in particular.

Our Land Managers play a critical role in the overall success of the business and we reward our Land Colleagues with very attractive land buying commission schemes, professional and personal development along with industry leading Colleague benefits. 

As a Land Manager, you’ll work closely with our planning, technical and design teams on a day to day basis. The role is incredibly fast moving, and you will be responsible for investigating opportunities through an extensive network of contacts as well as identifying land opportunities directly through your own efforts of targeted marketing.

Our Land Colleagues work the site from identification and appraisal through each stage of the purchase and you will be liaising with Local Authorities, Estate Agents and Land Owners each and every day to maximise your opportunities. 

You’ll also have the added benefit of knowing you play a key role in why our customers thrive and fall in love with their new independent, safe and secure lifestyle.

Naturally the role comes with extensive travel requirements within the region therefore you must have a valid UK Drivers Licence. The hours of work are Monday to Thursday, 9am – 5.30pm and Fridays, 9am – 5pm.

About you

You’ll have extensive Land Buying experience within the property sector, from either the retirement sector, a mainstream house-builder or land acquisition for commercial and retail. 

You will have advanced negotiation skills with tact and the ability to influence other people with clear, professional communication skills and confidence to present in meetings.

We are looking for some who is well networked in the East Midlands with a proven track record of success, enjoy hitting targets and will be familiar with all aspects of land purchase in the UK.
