About the role

We’re looking to appoint a talented Marketing Executive to oversee marketing plans for our developments in the Eastern Region based from our St Albans office.

It’s an exciting and varied role, as you’ll be out and about regularly attending events and liaising with Sales staff onsite.

You’ll continually work to improve promotional activity, ensuring that all targets are achieved within agreed budgets and timescales, reviewing current processes and creating new activity to maximise the effectiveness of the marketing function and ultimately, increasing visitor levels.

Your duties will include both on and offline marketing, such as; preparing and developing Regional brochures and support material, supporting the Sales Team with Lifestyle Events and Networking.

You’ll have the opportunity to liaise with a wide range of internal and external contacts, including the Sales Teams, Customer Relations, Customers and Suppliers and will be required to attend Team and Regional Sales & Marketing Meetings, making presentations as required.

Hours of work are 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00 to 5.00pm on Friday.

You must be willing to travel as you’ll be visiting construction sites and sales offices in the normal course of work. Some weekend work will be required in order to attend events, with time in lieu taken during the week.

About you

We’re looking for a self-motivated, personable individual who enjoys a busy, varied and challenging role. It’s important that you have generalist Marketing experience, ideally from a business to consumer environment. Your knowledge will include a blended approach to marketing which drives customer engagement and action. Proven ability to build direct mailing campaigns and measure the success is essential.

The ideal candidate will hold or be working towards the CIM Qualification/ a professional qualification in Marketing or a related subject.

With a high volume of coordination between teams and responsibility for representing Churchill Retirement Living at external events, it’s important that you are a good communicator, enthusiastic about our product and professional, with a proactive ‘can do’ attitude.

This is a key role and you will require the ability to influence. You will be managing a range of large projects, with strict deadlines and responsibility for regional reports.  You will have excellent time management skills, be highly organised and have great attention to detail.

You’ll also have all round IT skills that include MS Office and experience of database management.
