About the role
The Receptionist is the first point of contact for visitors and callers to our stunning Head Office in Ringwood.
You’ll be a friendly, personable yet professional Receptionist, always ready to provide the warmest of welcomes with a cheery and helpful disposition.
Reporting to the PA/Senior Administrator, your duties will include meeting and greeting visitors at the front desk, operating a busy switchboard, directing and announcing calls, managing emails and written correspondence, opening and distributing post and overseeing the booking of meeting rooms. Administration duties will vary day to day, supporting the PA and Head Office teams, updating internal information (telephone lists, new starter information etc), liaising with suppliers and other general correspondence.
In addition, you will liaise with the Facilities department, ensuring there are adequate supplies of stationary, reporting any building or facilities defects, monitoring health and safety, helping to keep communal areas clean and tidy.
You will have previous experience of a busy reception desk or ‘front of house’, with excellent customer service skills along with a polished telephone manner that conveys clear, verbal communication, able to build an instant rapport with people at all levels, both internally and externally.
You’ll be professional and well presented, articulate and confidential, able to juggle numerous tasks and work well under pressure.
You will also possess a good working knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel and Outlook and be familiar with office equipment, photocopiers, scanners etc.
Hours of work are 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00 to 5.00pm on Friday, with one hour for lunch.
