About the role

We are recruiting for a Ledger Clerk to join our growing Finance Team, based in our stunning Head Office, Ringwood.

You will provide efficient and timely recordings of ledger transactions for the company and the group.

This involves processing invoices, expenses claims and manual payments as well as being involved in the monthly payment runs, statement reconciliations and resolving invoice queries which will require liaising with employees, subcontractors and suppliers.

Hours of work are 9.00am to 5.30pm, Monday – Thursday and 9.00am – 5.00pm on Fridays. 

About you

You will have confident numeracy skills and proven professional experience in a similar Purchase Ledger Clerk role.

You will have good standard IT skills, especially when using Excel, Word and accounting systems. We are also looking for someone who thrives in a team environment, with effective communication skills in order to liaise with Suppliers and internal departments.

The successful Ledger Clerk will have excellent attention to detail, lots of initiative and understand the importance of meeting deadlines.

Experience in a similar role would be a benefit but we are able to provide internal training for the right candidate.
