Chippenham retirement development welcomes local Art Trail artists

Churchill Retirement Living’s St Andrew’s Lodge in Chippenham recently welcomed a group of local artists who will be exhibiting their work at the first ever Chippenham Art Trail, which Churchill is proud to be supporting. On Wednesday 7th June event organiser Rae Melody and other artists visited apartment Owners at the Lodge to talk about the Art Trail and give a special preview of some of their latest work.

The Art Trail event takes place on Saturday 18th June. It will be an exciting all-day exhibition of local art with 16 locations across the town and over 100 artists displaying their work, so everyone can meet and speak with them at their leisure throughout the day. Lodge Manager Rachel Gilmore said: “We are very proud to be supporting the inaugural Chippenham Art Trail and it was wonderful to meet some of the artists and get a taste of what’s in store. We are just a few doors along from The Cause Music and Arts venue which is one of the main venues for the event, so if anyone is attending on the day we hope they’ll also pop along to St Andrew’s Lodge to say hello. There will be a warm welcome in our comfortable Owners’ Lounge.”

St Andrew’s Lodge is a stylish collection of one and two bedroom privately-owned retirement apartments for those who want to enjoy an active, independent lifestyle.
