A Churchill Retirement Living development in Sale which is managed by Millstream Management Services has been awarded a National Housing for Older People Award by the national housing charity for older people, Elderly Accommodation Counsel (EAC).
Brindley Lodge achieved the Bronze award in the ‘retirement housing 40-49 units’ category, which was awarded for both the quality of the property, as well as the services provided by Millstream Management Services.
More than 4,000 residents from 360 specialist housing schemes helped choose the award winners in a unique process overseen by the EAC, which culminated in an awards presentation at The Hilton Hotel in Manchester this month.
The residents scored their retirement scheme on a variety of statements relating to both the quality of the property, including location, build quality, space and design and the care and support their receive, including staff attitudes, social activities and integration into the wider community.
Also successful in gaining “highly commended” certificates were Churchill’s retirement developments, Ballard Lodge in Shepperton and Wellington Lodge in Camberley, both managed by Millstream Management Services.
