Churchill ranked 12th in the UK for fastest growing profits

Churchill Retirement Living, the UK’s fastest growing, privately owned retirement housebuilder, has been named in the Sunday Times BDO Profit Track 100.

Churchill achieved 12th place in the league table, which ranks Britain’s top 100 private companies with the fastest growing profits over the last three years.

Churchill has enjoyed continued growth over this period, with sales increasing by 31 per cent to 492 in 2015 and operating profit reaching £43.5m, giving an industry leading 30.5 per cent operating margin, in the same year.

Spencer McCarthy, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Churchill Retirement Living, believes that exceptional people and exceptional service is the key to Churchill’s success:

“We are absolutely thrilled to make the top 20 in the Sunday Times BDO 2016 Profit Track 100. Growing demand from an ageing population has certainly helped our business, but the huge success we are experiencing is testament to the exceptional people we have on board and the exceptional service they provide to our property owners, both through construction excellence and property management.

“After achieving 14th place in The Times Top 100 Best Companies list, as well as the top five star rating from the Home Builders Federation (HBF) earlier this year, this latest award makes a hat-trick for Churchill and clearly demonstrates our employees, customers and shareholders are all extremely happy. We’re incredibly proud of that.”

The 17th annual Profit Track 100 list was published in the Sunday Times Business section over the weekend, with a supporting awards dinner to be held at The Savoy, London on Tuesday 14 June.
