Christmas is just around the corner and Churchill Retirement Living is getting into the festive swing. We’re running several events at our Lodges throughout December as part of our Christmas celebrations, with the first ones happening this week.
Lodges up and down the country are taking part in mince pie and sherry afternoons, with Owners having the option to invite their friends and family along to join in with the festive cheer. The mince pie and sherry days are the perfect opportunity for everyone to get together and to meet the other Owners. It’s also nice for families and members of the local community to be involved in our festive events.
Churchill Retirement Living is also running carol singing services at a selection of our Lodges. Children from local schools will be coming to the Lodges to perform some of the best-loved and most popular Christmas carols. The pupils will be attending their local Lodge to sing and we often find that many of our Owners choose to join in with the carolling themselves.
At this exciting time of year, a lot of the Owners look forward to hearing their favourite Christmas hymns and songs being sung by the pupils and we find this is one of our most popular events.
Caroline Haswell, Senior Marketing Executive at Churchill Retirement Living said: “It will be wonderful to see the generations come together to celebrate Christmas. It can be a difficult time for some people, but having events such as this helps to spread some Christmas cheer.”
Many of the Owners also arrange their own Christmas meals together at a number of Lodges across the country. For more information on the mince pie and sherry gatherings or the carol services at your local Lodge, please call 0800 458 1856.
