Churchill Retirement Living Funds New Laptops at Local School

Pupils at Cranleigh C of E Primary School next door to Manns Lodge in Cranleigh, Surrey, are enjoying brand new laptops thanks to a donation from Churchill Retirement Living!

The £1,500 funding has allowed the school to purchase four laptops for its Special Educational Needs department, to allow pupils to use specialist learning software.

Derek Trawber, Business Manager at Cranleigh C of E Primary School, said: “We are very grateful to Churchill Retirement Living for their kind donation to the school.  This will enable us to buy four more laptops for our Special Educational Needs team to use.  These laptops will enable pupils to use specialist literacy and maths programmes to assist their learning and development.”

Anne Scherrer, Senior Regional Marketing Manager at Churchill Retirement Living South East, said: “We’re delighted we were able to support Cranleigh C of E Primary School with a donation towards their laptop fundraising efforts. We understand that a number of schools don’t have the luxury of excess funds for expensive items like laptops, so we’re happy we were able to bolster their efforts. It’s important to us to engage with the local communities that we’re building in and ensure the legacy we leave behind is a positive one for all ages.”

Manns Lodge is located next to Cranleigh C of E Primary School, in the centre of Cranleigh.
