Generations come together for carols at Christmas

With Christmas just weeks away, pupils from local primary school, St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Choir, have brought the festive spirit to Churchill Retirement Living’s Maxwell Lodge in Market Harborough.

The pupils from St Joseph’s Roman Catholic Choir performed a special carol service for Owners and the local community at Maxwell Lodge singing favourites from the school syllables and Christmas Carols.

Hayley Robinson, Marketing Executive at Churchill Retirement Living, who joined Owners at the event, said: “It is wonderful to see the generations come together to celebrate Christmas. It can be a difficult time for some people, but having events such as this helps to spread the Christmas cheer.

“The pupils from St. Joseph’s sang beautifully and I know that all the Owners at Maxwell Lodge thoroughly enjoyed the carols and are feeling very festive!”

The carols are the latest in a series of festive events being held at Maxwell Lodge in the run up to Christmas, which have also included sherry and mince pie get togethers.

Maxwell Lodge on Northampton Road is a collection of one and two bedroom apartments designed exclusively for the over 60s, just a short distance from public transport links, shops and all the local amenities on offer in Market Harborough.
