Everyone who attended the Official Opening of Mitton Lodge in Stourport on Friday 25th October had the opportunity to view the beautifully furnished Show Apartment and experience the lifestyle that can be enjoyed at the latest Churchill Retirement Living development, as well as meet Mark Garnier, MP for Wyre Forest. The local MP gave up his time to officially declare the Lodge open by the cutting of a ribbon and the unveiling of a plaque in the entrance hall to commemorate the event.
Mitton Lodge offers a range of highly specified one and two bedroom apartments, designed for people of retirement age who want to live independently with a little extra security. Like all Churchill Lodges, the beautiful landscaped grounds are professionally maintained, and other jobs such as window cleaning are also taken care of. In addition, there is a 24 hour emergency call line, a Lodge Manager on hand to help, and an Owners’ lounge for socialising. The development itself is also conveniently located a short distance from the traditional high street, which includes butchers, supermarkets and green grocers for every day items.
Douglas Jones, Regional Managing Director of Churchill Retirement Living, spoke at the event; “As an organisation we continuously strive for excellence and this has been recognised recently by an unprecedented number of industry awards, including Best Retirement House Builder for the fourth consecutive year in 2012 in the UK over 50’s Housing Awards.”
