Churchill Retirement Living has teamed up with Wave 105 FM to collect presents for young people in need this Christmas.
Churchill Retirement Living is calling on people around the UK to buy an extra toy while out Christmas shopping and drop it in to donation stations located at its Lodges.
All the presents will be collected and donated to Wave 105 FM’s Cash for Kids appeal, in partnership with Forester. Churchill Retirement Living is looking for new gifts suitable for children and young people aged 0 – 18 years old.
Spencer McCarthy, Chairman & Group Managing Director at Churchill Retirement Living, comments: “Christmas should be special, but for many children across the South West it will be a challenging time and while many of us take receiving presents at Christmas for granted, there are children living in poverty who will go without.
“Churchill Retirement Living has Lodges across the UK so we are in perfect position to collect donations for this year’s Cash for Kids appeal. With the support of the public, and staff at our office in Ringwood, we hope to collect more than 100 presents, which will make a big difference to the Christmases of many disadvantaged young people.”
Developments taking part
Wave 105 Cash for Kids was set up in 2009 to help disadvantaged young people under the age of 18 across the region. All presents should be donated by Wednesday 10 December, when they will be collected and shared with Wave 105 Cash for Kids in time for Christmas.
