Service charges explained…
We understand that the ongoing cost of running your new apartment is an important factor to consider when deciding to purchase a Churchill apartment, here’s some key Service Charge benefits:
- Downsizing from a 3 bed house to a 2 bed apartment could save approximately £1,300* per year.
- A potential saving of around 15% on bills.
- Renewable technologies to supply hot water and heating to reduce electricity bills.
- We also insulate our developments to a very high standard.
- The need to turn the heating on is kept to a minimum.
- Owners are consulted annually
- We always aim to keep the cost as low as possible.
“Living in a Churchill Apartment is absolutely marvellous. The whole building is so nice and warm all the time that we’ve hardly had to use the heating inside our apartment. When we do turn it up a notch or two it’s nice to know we don’t have to worry about the cost or the environmental impact, as it’s all so energy efficient and covered within our annual service charge.”

Popular town in Kent
Dartford is a popular town situated on the border of Kent and Greater London, with a long history of industrial and cultural importance and boasts an extensive range of shops, bars and restaurants within the town centre, together with good transport links to both Bluewater and Lakeside Shopping Centres.
- Dartford has a rich and varied heritage which includes The Manor Gate House, once a 16th Century mansion of Henry VIII. Medieval buildings in the High Street and the Holy Trinity Church, which dates back to the 1000s and contains a 15th Century mural also add to the heritage of Dartford. Here, the body of Henry V lay overnight for a requiem mass before burial at Westminster Abbey.
- There’s also the Swanscombe Skull Site which is the location for three matching fragments of skull that turned out to be among the oldest human remains ever found in Europe.
- As well as quick links into central London, the town also benefits from designated areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty such as Dartford Heath. Scenic locations include the 26-acre Central Park, providing glorious floral displays and walks alongside the Darent riverside and the smaller Hesketh Park, with sport facilities.
