Facilities

Car Parking

There is no charge for parking but spaces are limited in our retirement developments and available on a 'first come, first served' basis. Visitors should only park if there are specially allocated visitors' spaces. If none are available then visitors may only pick up or drop off Owners and must park off site.

Guest Suite

A Guest Suite is provided for visiting relatives or friends and a charge is made for its use. Reservations are arranged via your Lodge Manager. Priority may be given to a visitor helping a sick Owner.

Owners' Lounge

The Owners' Lounge is for the use of all Owners as a casual meeting place or for an organised event. It is also available for private hire by Owners, on payment of a fee which is placed in the Lodge / Development's trust account. Advance notice must be given to the Lodge Manager in order to make a booking.

Landscape Gardens

Each development is individually designed to blend comfortably with neighbouring properties. A great deal of importance is placed on the communal gardens, providing a welcome retreat for you, your family and friends.

Retirement Living Testimonials
Pat Howell

Pat Howell

"Just across the road we have a handy bus service and various shopping centres, other places of interest such as services museums and an outdoor outlet park which is a hive of activity.  As for me this is one long holiday, lovely walks, a long sea front, some places quiet and peaceful and others full of activity."

"Everything I need is close by, the location couldn’t be better. I’ve still got my car at the minute but I decided to sell it because I just don’t need it anymore."

Picturesque coast of Bristol

Portishead lies on the coast around thirteen miles north west of Bristol. It looks out over the Severn Estuary across to the Welsh coastline and the Severn Bridges. You can see much of the Victorian influence in the town, particularly in the High Street, where there is a variety of shops, supermarkets and places to eat.

  • Portishead first rose to fame when the deep-water dock was built in the 1830's, facilitating international importing and exporting businesses. Many years on, the dock has been well preserved and is the centre of the area's urban renewal programme.
  • The modern marina is home to a number of cafes and restaurants, while it also offers many opportunities for sailing. If smaller boats are more appealing, you can hire a row-boat at the Lake Grounds, one of Portishead's several Conservation Areas. Lake Grounds is an ideal place for relaxing, picnicking, watching cricket or bowls, or even playing pitch and putt with the grandchildren!
  • There are regular bus services to Bristol and Weston-super-Mare, while the road links for the M5 offer easy access further afield if required.
  • This beautiful development offers a Wellbeing Suite, which is ideal for booking in beauty treatments or hairdressing. The Owners' Lounge overlooks stunning landscaped gardens, offering somewhere to relax with a good book or socialise with fellow Owners.
