Service charges explained…

We understand that the ongoing cost of running your new apartment is an important factor to consider when deciding to purchase a Churchill apartment. That’s why a full service charge budget analysis is available for each individual development. Owners are consulted on this annually, and we always aim to keep the cost as low as possible.

In fact many Owners are pleasantly surprised that the service charges for their apartment frequently work out less than what they were paying, in comparable costs, on their previous property. This is backed up by research from the Housing LIN, who found that downsizing from a 3 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom retirement apartment could save an Owner approximately £1,300* per year. This is a potential saving of around 15% on bills.With energy costs on the increase, it is worth highlighting that we incorporate renewable technologies to supply hot water and heating to reduce electricity bills. Local area

An ancient market town

A walk along the renowned High Street will take you back through 800 years of Sussex heritage; it boasts many significant half timbered buildings and open hall houses in the UK.

  • This development is in close proximity to the train station, Aldi, Sainsbury’s and a bus stop, making it easy to get around, with all the amenities nearby. There’s also a post box directly opposite the lodge.
  • On the southern outskirts of the town lies Standen, the National Trust’s flagship Arts and Crafts country house. Walkers and cyclists have a wide choice of walks and trails that leave the town for the surrounding countryside.
  • The beautiful Forest and Worth Ways both start in the town and form part of the Sustrans National Cycle Trail. The long distance High Weald Landscape Trail also passes through the town from Horsham en route to the sea at Rye.
