About the role
We’re looking for a Planning Assistant to assist our Planning Issues team based in our stunning Head Office in Ringwood.
You will be responsible to carry out various preparatory and administrative duties for the Planning Issues team, including undertaking planning policy research, condition discharge, s106 monitoring and supporting the Planning team in application preparation.
Your duties will include:
- Planning policy research
- Planning application support
- Assist in compilation and binding of reports
- Maintain spreadsheets monitoring conditions and financial obligations
This is an office based role; the hours of work are 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday and 9am to 5pm on Fridays.
We would like you to have a passion for starting a career in planning and previous experience would be welcomed but not essential. It would be beneficial to have worked in a supporting role in a wider team previously.
You will have excellent keyboard skills and proficient skills in Word, Excel, Outlook.
You will be approachable with a friendly ‘can do’ attitude and clear, professional communication skills as you will liaise with individuals at all levels.
