The royal residence of Windsor Castle embodies almost 1,000 years of architectural history. It is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world. Founded by William the Conqueror in the 11th century, it has since been the home of 39 monarchs. Today The Queen spends most of her private weekends at the Castle.
Legoland Windsor Resort provides the perfect family day out with the grandkids. The theme park is focused around the construction toy system, Lego, and is home to a variety of rides and attractions for all ages. The resort is conveniently located on the B3022 Windsor/Ascot road, just two miles from Windsor town centre.
Escape the indoors and make the most of a day in the countryside. You are sure to find a place to unwind and enjoy a leisurely walk. Cliveden offers incredible views across the river Thames. Whilst the trails around the estate at Greys Court boast far-reaching views over the Chiltern Hills.
The south east county is home to a variety of shopping facilities, including the Swindon Designer Outlet, Windsor Royal Shopping and Festival Place shopping centre. Providing a large array of designer, high street and independent shops alongside restaurants, cafes and leisure facilities.
