Multiple award success for Churchill Retirement Living

Churchill Retirement Living, the UK’s leading private retirement housebuilder, is celebrating after picking up five top property industry accolades.

The firm has been awarded three prestigious titles in the Over 50’s Housing Awards 2013 in recognition of its high-quality retirement apartments. The Over 50’s Housing Awards has acknowledged Churchill Retirement Living as the Most Outstanding Retirement Housing Operator in the Over 50’s Housing Sector in the World for the third year running and also as the Most Outstanding Retirement Housing Operator in the UK for the fifth consecutive year. Plus, to recognise continued commitment to providing independent retirement living, joint owners and brothers, Spencer and Clinton McCarthy, were jointly awarded Man of the Year for the second year running.

At this year’s What House? Awards, known as the Oscars of the housebuilding industry, the property developer was the only retirement housebuilder to be recognised and scooped bronze for the Best Medium Housebuilder as well as bronze for Best Retirement Development for Gifford Lodge in Twickenham.

Spencer McCarthy, Chairman and Group Managing Director at Churchill Retirement Living, says: “We’re incredibly honoured to have been recognised in both the Over 50’s Housing Awards and What House? Awards. We pride ourselves on providing and delivering a market leading product and service to all our customers with the aim of creating a lifestyle that fulfills their requirements in their retirement, and to be recognised for our work is a fantastic achievement.”
