Local team Abigail and Lorraine create a warm welcome at Invicta Lodge

Lodge Manager Abigail Carden and Senior Sales Executive Lorraine Newcombe bring bags of experience and local knowledge to their roles at Churchill Retirement Living’s new Invicta Lodge development in Westwood Cross. With the first handful of new apartment Owners soon to be moving in, the team are looking forward to being at the heart of a thriving new community.

Situated between Margate and Broadstairs, near the Kent coast, the new development has a great selection of shops and amenities nearby, and apartment Owners will benefit from Abigail and Lorraine’s many years of experience with Churchill to ensure they settle into their new lifestyle.

Abigail says: “I spent several happy years at Churchill’s Beatrice Lodge development which is a few miles away in Sittingbourne. Moving to a new development in my home town is a new beginning for me and I’m looking forward to helping my new Owners start a fresh beginning of their own here.”

She adds: “My job as Lodge Manager is all about creating a safe, enjoyable and fun environment for our Owners to enjoy their new lifestyle, making it as friendly and welcoming as possible for everyone. I’m looking forward to organising plenty of fun social events throughout the year which everyone is welcome to get involved with. Whether it’s Easter Egg hunts, Summer garden parties, charity fundraising events, or weekly fish and chip nights, we’ll take any opportunity to get together and have a bit of fun. It’s what the retirement living lifestyle is all about!”

After 16 years with Churchill, Lorraine is also relishing the opportunity to work at a development in her home town. asI know the area very well so for any of our new Owners who don’t know their way around the town yet, I’ll be able to let them know the best places to visit, fun things to do, and of course where to go for the essentials.”

With Abigail and Lorraine in charge, there is sure to be a warm welcome for anyone choosing to buy an apartment at Invicta Lodge, which is just one of the reasons why they’re selling fast.

BOX OUT - Fun Fact: To mark Remembrance Day in 2020, Abigail and the Owners at her previous Lodge in Sittingbourne created a huge ‘waterfall’ Poppy display, which was featured on the BBC news!
