Mayor of Cheltenham joins local retirees for Summer Garden Party in Cheltenham

People in Cheltenham were invited to join Churchill Retirement Living for a Summer Garden Party at its Lewis Carroll Lodge development this month.

The event took place on Thursday 4th July from 2pm to 4pm, when visitors were treated to a live music performance in the landscaped gardens, a glass of Pimm’s, traditional ice cream and a range of summer-themed refreshments. There was also the opportunity to meet new Churchill apartment Owners and hear about the new lifestyle they’re enjoying, and take an exclusive tour of the Lodge’s stunning show complex.

Churchill’s Regional Marketing Manager Bernadette Hennelly said:

“Our Summer Garden Party was the perfect opportunity for local people to come and experience first-hand the fun and sociable lifestyle that comes with a brand new Churchill apartment. Visitors were treated to a host of treats and great entertainment, as well as the chance to chat to our Owners and meet our friendly sales team. Everyone was welcome to come and join the party and see for themselves the wonderful community atmosphere we have here.”

Lewis Carroll Lodge, located on St Margaret’s Road near the heart of town, is a stylish collection of one and two bedroom privately-owned retirement apartments for those who want to enjoy an active, independent lifestyle. Each apartment has been designed exclusively for those in their retirement years and has a number of safety and security features, such as a 24 hour emergency call line and a video entry system, for complete peace of mind.

There is also a Lodge Manager employed by Millstream Management Services who oversees the running of the development, and an Owners’ Lounge where Owners can enjoy a catch up with like-minded neighbours and a regular programme of social events.
