Local artist Deana Kim was invited to host an afternoon workshop for retirees living at the Lodge, with 23 Owners taking part in the course. Deana taught the budding artists about the basics of creating beautiful paintings with watercolours, before asking them to put their new found skills to the test by producing colourful portraits of wildflowers.
Elaine Race, Lodge Manager at Nicholls Lodge, who organised the workshop, said: “It was fantastic to have Deana visit us for the workshop, and everyone who attended thoroughly enjoyed embracing their creative flair. The workshop was great fun; we’ve certainly got some talented artists amongst us.”
