Churchill calls for locals to name new Gravesend development and win £100

Churchill Retirement Living has launched a competition for local people to name its new development which will soon see the regeneration of the former police station site on Windmill Street.

The retirement specialist is inviting local residents to put forward a name for the development of one and two bedroom apartments coming to the heart of Gravesend. The competition closing date is Tuesday 28th February and the lucky winner will receive £100 from Churchill Retirement Living. The winning name will also appear on the development itself and in all related marketing literature.

The new privately-owned apartments will provide attractive, energy-efficient, secure and self-contained independent living accommodation in landscaped grounds, with local shops and amenities close at hand. Buyers will have the benefits of a communal Owners’ Lounge, a Guest Suite, a Lodge Manager, and a 24 hour emergency call alarm service.

Churchill’s Senior Regional Marketing Manager Anne Scherrer said: “After achieving a successful planning permission, we’re delighted to be bringing our new development to Gravesend and have already seen lots of interest from local over 60s keen to discover the benefits of the independent retirement living lifestyle. Anyone interested in finding out more about the new development can register their interest now for updates, and be among the first to find out when the apartments will be released for sale.”

To enter the naming competition, please send your suggested name and the reason for it along with your name, address and phone number to: Freepost, CHURCHILL RETIREMENT LIVING, or by email to anne.scherrer@crl.co.uk by Tuesday 28th February. Remember to mark your entry ‘GRAVESEND NAMING COMPETITION’ and keep in mind that Churchill Retirement Living development names always end in ‘Lodge’. If more than one person suggests the winning name, the winner will be randomly selected. The chosen name is subject to approval by the Local Authority.
