One of the first to settle in was Peter Chin, who says: “The idea of a retirement home has eased my life in many ways, it is such a relief to not have to worry about any home or garden maintenance. I can happily leave to go on holiday knowing my home is safe, secure and looked after by our lodge manager – I highly recommend attending a coffee morning at a nearby lodge to you just to get a feel of the place, meet other residents and see how great it is.”
Judith Jones also moved into Edinburgh Lodge and added: “We are already building a friendly community in lovely grounds. Having our lodge manager, Dermot, has been a great addition to our community as he is always in a good mood and willing to help with anything, nothing is too much trouble for him or the rest of the Churchill team.
