Retirement living is thriving in Sale, where apartment Owners and Colleagues at Churchill Retirement Living’s Brindley Lodge got together to celebrate the development’s 10th anniversary on Friday 24th March.

Lodge Manager Anne Smith-Brady and many of her apartment Owners have been there since the development first opened its doors back in March 2013, and all were in attendance to enjoy the celebrations with a glass of fizz and a special cake to mark the occasion. Area Manager Neil Bradbury was there too, along with Gwyneth Grimshaw who manages Churchill’s nearby St John’s Lodge in Timperley.

Sales Executive Alison Nelson also returned for a reunion with the community she helped to establish during the development’s initial sales phase all those years ago. She is now helping to launch Churchill’s new Eddington Lodge development in Kendal, where she hopes to see an equally happy group of Owners come together soon.

Both Alison and Anne began their Churchill careers at Brindley Lodge, so the celebrations also marked both Colleagues’ 10 year anniversary of service with the company.

Area Manager Neil Bradbury said: “It was wonderful to celebrate this special ‘birthday’ with our Owners, and to welcome Alison back for such a happy occasion. Many of our Owners as well as our Lodge Manager Anne have been here since the very beginning, and of course we’ve welcomed lots of new faces over the years and even won a few awards! Our apartments offer security, peace of mind and independent living for our Owners, and being in a manageable, low maintenance apartment can offer a new lease of life for people, giving them more time to enjoy their retirement. Fun social events like this are what life with Churchill is all about, and it was great to see everyone enjoying themselves.”
