Churchill donates £1,500 to Calne Pocket Park

Churchill Retirement Living has donated a generous sum of £1,500 to Calne Pocket Park, near its new Orchard Lodge development.

The nearby pocket park is known to host regular events including planting sessions and pop-up theatre performances and is a big asset to the historic market town. Calne Pocket Park organisers will utilise £750 of Churchill’s donation this year, which will pay for a new park bench, some fresh planting and a senior’s musical event to be held at the park.

Caroline Haswell, Regional Marketing Manager at Churchill Retirement Living South West, said: “We love being able to give back to the communities that we build in, and we know this park is such a highlight to so many in Calne with all the events they put on to bring everyone together. With the first residents due to move into Orchard Lodge in May 2023, we hope our donation can be another way to add Churchill’s stamp on the local area.”
