St Nicolas Lodge welcomes first Owners

Churchill Retirement Living has warmly welcomed its first owners to St Nicolas Lodge in Kings Norton. The first influx of Owners have been making themselves right at home in the stunning development, and enjoying all that the beautiful village has to offer.

Val Stowell was one of the first to move into St Nicolas Lodge and has been thrilled so far during her time at the development. Having previously lived in the area, Val had always wanted to make the move back and St Nicolas Lodge made her dream possible.

Discussing her move, Val said: “If you’re considering moving into a retirement living development, do it sooner rather than later.”

“I have so much more free time now that I’m living here, with much less of my day having to be spent on general maintenance that comes being solely responsible for a house. Now that I have the support of Churchill, I can spend my time doing the things I really love.”

She went on to say, “With King’s Norton on the doorstep, which has retained its quaint village feel and with the bustling centre of Birmingham only a short distance away, living at St Nicolas Lodge really lets me experience the best of both worlds.”

Adding further, Val commented “It’s not just where the development is, but the complex itself that sold it to me. My new apartment is well laid-out and easy to live in, and the communal areas are great to socialise with other Owners in.”

St Nicolas Lodge comprises of 38 one- and two-bedroom apartments as well as featuring a Guest Suite for visiting friends and family to stay in. All Owner’s benefit from a secure camera entry system, free parking, energy efficient heating and a Lodge Manager who is onsite to help with any needs.

Bernadette Hennelly, Regional Marketing Manager for Churchill Retirement Living Midlands said: “Hearing such positive experiences from Owners such as Val is really rewarding and makes me proud of the communities we create here at Churchill. Our aim is always to help people live their best low maintenance lifestyle and allow people to spend their retirement living hassle-free. It’s great to hear that, for Val, this is a reality.”
